About Tina Hunt

Cabbage to Lemonade, Tina Hunt, Christian Author, Organ Donation, Native American

Tina Hunt was diagnosed with a not-so-familiar disease at the age of 17, her senior year in high school. She has learned to overcome and be positive during any crisis. Her motto has been that God gave her cabbage and instructed her to make lemonade, because turning lemons to lemonade would have been too easy. Thus, she has acquired the ability to do so simply by transforming cabbage into lemonade.

Among Tina's many interests is spending time in nature, which she enjoys doing (while, of course, protecting herself from the sun with sunscreen). She enjoys the sounds of the waves from the beach and the stillness of the mountains. She enjoys being with people, so at almost any given time, she is part of planning an event. It is her belief that leaders are readers She always has a book she is reading.

Through her direct sales business, she also helps women with color and skin challenges. She is an ambassador for Donate Life America, where she shares her story of her kidney transplant and encourages others to become organ donors. She is faithful and active in her church.

Her hope is that this book will give people hope and encouragement. It might not always look pretty or even possible, but God can take that cabbage and turn it into lemonade.
